I was born in Kerman, Iran. Music came to me from the first days my mind has documented.”Animalympics” by Graham Gouldman was the first complete music album I listened to. Things then mainly went on with Disney Classics’ scores and at the age of ten, my parents bought me my first guitar which was a Yamaha C70 nylon guitar (still my most favorite instrument to expand my ideas). About two years later, I started playing electric guitar by covering my favorite songs. Back in time, I had no idea about tablature, classical notation or even routine forms of chords. All I had were my ears and I was supposed to trust them. Just imagine learning and playing Metallica’s Masters of Puppets’ interlude arpeggio line by ear! I began to write songs in different genres-mostly heavy stuff-at the age of 15 and I have written more than a hundred themes and songs since those days till now. The vocals came along with playing chords and singing Bob Dylan’s Knocking on Heaven’s door, again with knowing nothing about chord names and concept or vocal techniques. The next step in my music career was learning bass guitar, which I began to play when I was 17. Iron Maiden’s To Tame a Land was the reason I got involved in bass guitar world (and definitely Cliff Burton’s unique work). Though during the past years I tried to learn things from various local instructors, the route changed in my life back in 2011 when I began to learn music theory, playing skills, and recording software from one of the most inspiring musicians in my life Mr. Homayoon Majdzadeh, founder of the Iranian band “Kahtmayan”, the band which I was honored to play with as rhythm guitar in their rehearsal sessions in 2012. I recorded and released two cover albums entitled A Tribute to the Legends (2012) and Grieving Recluse (2013). Besides that, I formed my experimental band “Aortae” in 2012 and released its debut album entitled Schizotherapy in 2014. I performed 10 live shows in various events as a solo artist and beside my favorite musicians. My fourth album called Blueman, which is my first official record was released by Javan Records in 2019. I have been teaching guitar and music theory since high school. Currently I’m studying English literature PhD and my BA and MA are in the same field. Music for me is an endless road, full of exciting experiences ahead!
